2012: In the summer of 2012, Architecture+, based in Monroe, LA, decided to close it's Dallas Office. Phillip Morse, Director of the Dallas office, decided that continued service to his existing customers was too important to allow a lapse in availability; so he purchased the equipment from Architecture+ and formed PlacesMade architecture. Architecture+ has supported this transition and we remain very close to our friends there. 2007-2012: Architecture+ Dallas Area office. Phillip Morse, working with the home office of Architecture+; opened, organized, directed, and managed the Dallas Area Branch office. The flagship project for the Dallas office was The Village at Allen TX. Current employees of Edifice Architecture became employees of Architecture+. The majority of our existing clients from the Edifice Architecture office continued to utilize us for their work thru the A+ Dallas office. 2001-2007: Edifice Architecture: Having worked for Hodges and Associates in Dallas from 1995 thru 2001, Phillip decided to open his own architectural practice. As a project manager for Hodges, Phillip's project experience was with major retail centers ranging from 150K to 1M sf. Edifice Architecture started with no clients and no projects, just a few business contacts. The first projects were very small tasks but they allowed us to start building more contacts and relationships. By 2007 we had designed numerous finish outs, a daycare center, two veterinary clinics, and an office warehouse. We are proud that many of those early clients are still clients (and friends) today.
